The United Accreditation Foundation (UAF) provides accreditation for validation and verification bodies performing project validation and verification in accordance with ISO 14064-2 – Greenhouse Gases – Specification with Guidance at the Project Level for Quantification, Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions or Removal Enhancements.

This program applies to validation and verification of greenhouse gas mitigation projects designed to reduce emissions or enhance greenhouse gas removals.

Accredited validation and verification bodies assess project design, monitoring plans, and reported emission reductions to confirm that greenhouse gas mitigation outcomes are quantified and reported in accordance with applicable requirements.
